Student Government Association

Student Government Association serves as the voice of the student body. Comprised of the Legislative, Judicial, and Executive Branches, SGA meets weekly during the fall and spring semesters to address the needs and concerns of the students. Additionally, SGA conducts campus-wide events which brings together students, faculty, staff and community members to promote school spirit and provide community service for members of the greater Clarksville community.

Student Government makes a difference at Austin Peay.

Whether it is a service project, student body advocacy or a campus safety upgrade, Austin Peay's SGA is one of the most visible and tangible ways students can get involved at the University.

Students from all six colleges and five classifications are welcome to run for any of the open Senate seats to better represent their constituents.

Students play mudbowl in Dunn Center bowl
Mudbowl

The Student Government Association introduced Mudbowl in 2002. Every fall, student teams compete in volleyball in the mud. The Mudbowl uses tarp surrounded by bales of straw, filled with tons of murky dirt and water.

Pumpkins during Halloween
G.H.O.S.T

G.H.O.S.T., or "Greater Halloween Options for Safe Trick-or-Treating," is a longstanding tradition at bet365中文, sponsored by Student Government Association. Although it was originally intended for the children of bet365中文 students, faculty, and staff, G.H.O.S.T. has expanded to welcome families from the local community. bet365中文 clubs and organizations, as well as groups from the community, dress up, hand out candy, and play games with children from Clarksville and the surrounding area.
